RESPONSIVE WEBSITE

WONDERWALL is a digital destination for the latest celebrity photos, news and more.

OBJECTIVE

Increase the brand’s reach across all digital devices while maintaining its current essence.

SOLUTION

Redesign the website to be fully responsive and removed harsh color contrast, which impeded content readability.

KEY INSIGHT

The previous WONDERWALL design utilized heavy contrasting colors and placed little emphasis on headlines, thus making it hard for users to evaluate each story before clicking on one.

In addition to evaluating the current website, our competitive analysis and user research revealed our two biggest opportunities to improve -  optimizing the mobile experience and readability of all content pages.

SITEMAP DEVELOPMENT

Working with the WONDERALL executive editor, general manager, product manager and  in-house SEO expert, I led the team through a site architecture refresh. Categories were streamlined to achieve better content discovery, and site taxonomy was optimized to improve overall organic search ranking.

WIREFRAMES

Insight from our competitive analysis and user research was applied and documented with wireframes before final designs were completed.
