iOS APP + RESPONSIVE WEBSITE
ZENDAYA: THE APP ("Z"), is a multi-platform digital fan experience with the latest photos, videos and products from the entertainer Zendaya.
OBJECTIVE
Design a unique and innovative digital experience for Zendaya fans.
SOLUTION
In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, we designed a best-in-class iOS app and responsive website. The experience spotlights the following three core offerings: never before seen video and editorial content, e-commerce shop and a custom streaming radio station.
KEY INSIGHT
User research in conjunction with client input allowed our team to tap into the inner desires of Zendaya's core fan base. The digital fan experience was designed to allow the users ultimate access to live streamed video content directly from Zendaya, no matter where she is in the world. Additionally, iOS app users can simultaneously watch on-demand video from the artist and shop featured products all while listening to a custom radio station curated by Zendaya herself.
SKETCHING + PROTOTYPING
After conducting multiple stakeholder meetings and user research, the product, design, engineering teams and I kicked the project off with a design sprint. This week long process allowed us to vet through multiple ideas and develop a working prototype in five days.
WIREFRAMES
A winning concept was identified from the sprint. This concept was prototyped and tested. After receiving positive feedback from user testing, all screens and use cases were documented with wireframes.
